ElevateHer Vermont is a women’s networking group and social club that creates opportunities for professional connections to develop between women leaders in our state. Our goal is simple: to get to know one another, to promote each other, to elevate each other. We want you to have a list of women that come to mind when a job opens in your company, where you're looking for a new vendor or when you're nominating someone to a board. Because we believe that by elevating each other we elevate our communities and our state.

ElevateHer Vermont was born out of the knowledge that having a professional network is vital to professional success—networking allows us to identify role models, find mentors and expand business opportunities. We also believe that when women elevate one another professionally, we elevate our communities and our state.

Past topics we’ve covered include salary negotiation, financial literacy, and government service.  We focus on addressing areas where women can work toward concrete individual changes that collectively, will make a difference in moving the needle on broader statewide equality measures.

ElevateHer events are geared toward significantly female-identified people. We use an inclusive definition of “woman” and “female” and we welcome trans women, genderqueer women, and non-binary people who are significantly female-identified.
